STANDALONE DIESEL FUEL STORAGE SYSTEM
Fuelco designed and constructed a standalone diesel storage and delivery system, customised to meet the specific customer requirements. All fuel receipts and fuel deliveries to tankers are metered and recorded on the Fuel Management System
CHALLENGE
The design, construction, installation, and commissioning of a new 110,000L Diesel above ground storage system, with the high speed unloading pump also used to load tankers through a bulk loading arm.
FUELCO SOLUTION
- Fuelco provided a standard low cost solution for large volume diesel storage and distribution for industrial users.
- The turnkey project design encompassed the following: Site Layout Design, High Flow Loading Arm, Fuel Management System design, Safety System Design and Electrical Design.
OUR PRODUCTS
- 110,000L Fuelco Klassic Fuel Storage Tank, and clip on pump bay containing high speed pump, fuel management system and associated protection devices.
- The System uses a pump to unload the delivery tankers (900 l/min Diesel), the same pump is used to reload delivery trucks/tankers (850 l/min Diesel). The Fuel management system authorises all transactions, and tracks both inbound and delivered volumes.
- All tank levels and fuel transactions are remotely monitored through the cloud. An electronic overfill protection unit ensures tanker loading is conducted safely.
ADVANTAGES
- This double bunded fuel storage tank, and its clip on equipment bay, is ideal for remote and industrial sites, it avoids the environmental issues associated with underground tanks.
- The modular solution also allows for rapid tank deployment, with the additional advantage of being able to easily move the fuel storage and dispensing system should the commercial need arise.
RESULTS
- The customer had a high quality, simple and safe solution to their needs developed and delivered by Fuelco, allowing them to control and monitor their fuel usage.
