Fuelco was engaged to assist with a new fuel system for the Suez storage yard in Willawong capable of holding over 70 trucks. The system requirements included dispensing of diesel and DEF authorised through a fuel management system which included tank gauging for both products.

FUELCO SOLUTION
- Design, supply, installation and commissioning of a new 68,000ltr diesel & DEF storage unit with dual lane dispensing capable of refueling 4 trucks at a time with diesel and DEF, all managed through an integrated fuel management system.
OUR PRODUCTS
- Fuelco LTBL60 diesel & DEF self bunded storage tank.
- Submersible pumps and logic system capable of delivering fuel to the 6 nozzle locations.
- All tank levels and fuel transactions are remotely monitored through the cloud.
ADVANTAGES
- The self-bunded tank was an easy drop and play item and dual lane dispensing locations were planned out to maximise efficiency through handling vehicles refilling from both left and right sides appropriate to the mix of vehicles.
- The combined diesel, DEF storage was an upgrade to the previous diesel tank plus separate IBC storage of DEF.
RESULTS
- The customer now has an updated fuel system improving their truck refueling efficiency by 58% when compared to the previous system and all equipment is now up to date and compliant with local regulations.
